About & privacy

About Linkly and your privacy

Linkly is about your money and your paperwork. So you want to know who is behind it and where everything is kept.

Who makes Linkly

Linkly is made by Mischa Thullner, in the Netherlands. Right now he works on it alone. Linkly is still in development and not open to everyone.

Your privacy

  • Hosted in the EU

Linkly runs at Scaleway, a European cloud provider, on servers in the Netherlands. The database and your documents are stored there, in the EU.

  • Your bank: read-only

Linkly reads your payments through a licensed PSD2 provider. Linkly cannot move money and never sees your bank login details. Your consent expires after at most 180 days and you can withdraw it at any time.

  • Your mailbox: only what is about money

You sign in at Google or Microsoft yourself, or give an app password for another mailbox. For email that has nothing to do with money, Linkly does not keep the content. You disconnect with one click.

  • AI to read documents

To read a receipt or invoice, Linkly sends the document to an AI model of an external service. Only the document itself, only to read it. Which service that is and where it runs will be in the privacy statement at launch.

  • Delete means delete

You can delete your account at any time. Administrations that are only yours are erased everywhere within 30 days.

  • No ads

Linkly shows no ads and does not sell your data.
